Is this coil over good?

I been looking and was wondering if this shocks will be good for putting on a bull bar. People on the forum say I need like a coil over system or some suspension upgrade before putting on a bull bar because they make the front weigh more. Anyhow is this any good?

They look the same. The threaded adjustable coilovers has some drawbacks though. A simple set of Eibach or Bilstein adjustable shocks will help with sag for a lot less money. Check out Dobinsonsdirect, Bilsteinlifts, Toytec, Total Automotive Performance Las Vegas for other options.

Depending on the weight of the bull bar, you could benefit from just getting a slightly heavier duty front spring, if you wanted to stay at stock height.

Also, not for nothin, but if you are thinking about getting a bolt on bull bar only, think twice. They offer no protection and generally just cave into your radiator if you hit something. If you just want the looks, fine, but if you want protection, get a full replacement front bumper with bull bar.

Yeah, thats a replacement bumper. It's strong, not just a bull bar bolted to the frame. I'd suggest looking at Dobinsons Direct, Crikey Mike is on here and is a rep. They sell spring replacements and shocks. You should be able to get a heavier spring to offset the weight of the bumper to keep it near factory ride height.
