Not necessarily validating the OP but just went on toyota.com and the Pro is no longer listed as an option on the "Build and Price" page....was there yesterday....

Maybe. I though about that after I posted and remembered the browser likely remembered my location. But it definitely only said "5 Models" at the top of the page. SR5/P, Trail/P, and Limited.
Either way, still a sign that they may be thinning out the 2016 leading up to the 2017 rollout.

Exactly. I work at the Tundra Tacoma plant and 2017 models are rolling off. My boss ordered a 2017 4 Runner TRD PRO in Cement.
Your comment on timing is correct for new models, usually July.
