Issue with tire rubbing

So I purchased an 03 4runner sport. Had brand new 265/70/17 General grabbers on it when I bought it. With aftermarket vtec wheels. They rub very very slightly if you had the wheel all the way turned and backed up. But only sometimes. I installed the 3" toytec spacer lift and a set of 4 spidertrax spacers. Now they rub like crazy while turning. I thought people with similar lifts are running 285/70/17's measuring wider and taller at about a 33" without any rubbing. Why am i rubbing so badly? Is it the wheels? It rubs on the mud flap and sometimes in the front of the wheel well area.

The wheel spacers will make it rub more actually. Adding more castor in your alignment will help it fit too. There is no way to run 285/70/17's without trimming or pushing wheel well liners if you check clearance by steering both ways while fully compressing your shock.

I want to fit 285's when I need to purchase new tires. What will I have to do

Inv4drZm gave you a pretty decent outline already...Increase caster (new UCAs will yield the best result), Push fender liner forward, trim corners on front bumper, cut or remove mudflaps, possibly body mount chop (BMC).
