Issues installing Icon UCA on 5th Gen

For the Icon UCAs, they come with washers for each side of the bushings where the large pivot bolt goes through. For me, I am having an issue inserting one of the four washer once the large pivot bolt inserts pass the first bushing. The third washer is too large to fit. Did I get the wrong/defect part or am I doing something wrong? Has anyone run into this issue?

In green, is the large pivot bolt.
The yellow are the 3 of 4 washers
And the one I can’t fit is the red arrow.

Pretty sure when I installed my friend's delta joints, it was an extremely tight fit. I think what we did was put the 2 inner washers in at the same time by greasing them up and wedging them in. Basically, we installed the 2 green washers, then got at least a tapered edge of the the red washers in the spaces. From there we were able to slowly wedge or forcefully move them into place.

If you install 3 and then try to get that last one in by itself, you'll run into the issue you're experiencing where there's no room for it. We also didn't put the bolt through until everything lined up first.

You’re not doing anything wrong, they are tight fit. Go to harbor freight, buy a set of pry bars and pry on the rear control arm and it’ll slide right in.

it was annoying. also for the relocation block, there is a section where you lower the skid plate bracket with washers. In the instructions, it mentioned to place two washers on each bolt and for the one in the front of the truck to have three washers. For some reason, I can't place the factory hardware in with three washers (probably because the factory hardware already has a smaller washer in there) so I am only using two for all three bolts. Will there be any issue? It doesn't seem to have any sway bar rub with two washers.

I am placing the washers in as I insert the large pivot bolt from the top engine bay (from image, left to right). The fourth (last) washer has been added yet. I didn't think about greasing up and wedging but there is no way I have the strength to wedge the washer in. the UCA would have to bend out somehow.

If you start front to back and use a pry bar, pulling the UCA towards the rear of the truck, there will likely be some ever so slight compression of the bushing, allowing you to get the washer in. For the final washer (far back), use the pry bar to pull the entire arm towards the front of the vehicle and see if it can slip in.

You're not trying to bend the arm, just compress the bushings enough to let the washer slide in.
