Issues Within Steering Wheel Side Dash?

I have two issues within my dash. Or what I assume is there. More than likely electrical, but being in not genius I figure the best thing would be to ask you all what could be the issue as I haven't heard of this.

Bought my new TRD Pro on Saturday, and on Sunday I thought I noticed something, but thought my mind was playing games on me, but it's definitely a consist thing. I assume it happened at the dealer too but I never heard it.

When I start the car up, within the first minute or two I'll have a very fast click noise that lasts a split second somewhere in the dash around the steering wheel. It only happens when the car is started, but not immediately when started. It always happens within the first minute or so. Never hear it after that.

Additionally I noticed if I sit in Park and wiggle the steering wheel left and right the vehicle will go from around 700rpm to 1100rpm.

Are these issues I should be concerned about? Normal? What could my issue be? If anything serious, being I didn't buy my Toyota locally am I going to have any issues as far as warranty goes with local dealers?

I have the same noise. Consensus from here is that it is the ABS system and is completely normal.

I was told by another person off here that they have it too. And was told the RPM issue is probably the power steering pump being used more because of the tires.

Owned a CR-V before this so not used to that noise. But that makes perfect sense.

The noise you hear on startup is the ABS system. It is mentioned in the manual that it is a normal noise. If you put your foot on the brake pedal you should feel it a little bit.

And the rpm rising when you turn the steering is completely normal too. Most cars with hydraulic steering will do this. Some more than others. It does not happen with many new cars because of electric power sterring.

And before you come back here, yes the brake pedal will vibrate every few pumps. Consensus is that the brake booster is building up pressure. Many people have reported it. Some louder than others. Mine is barely perceptible.

Dont worry brother. Your 4runner is working as intented.

Haha thanks.

Yeah I've never felt the brake booster, but at least if I do I'll know that's what it is.
