After 2 years of not moving/running I decided it was time to fill up the tires, which.were all under 10psi. I was tired of looking at a truck that was sitting only an inch higher than my Celica, and I was already filling up the van tires anyway.
Then I preceded to do a full inspection and check all fluids ect.... They all looked good, but I knew I had to get it started to correctly check the transmission.
Went inside to the bedroom grabbed the battery went out hooked it up......took a deep breath and turned the key.....it tried to turn over, turned it a second time and it roared to life!! Smokes a bit but it starts.
The Trans stick read empty so I didnt attempt to move it, last.time I moved it it would only shift in to reverse no forward gears. Which is why I parked it, that and I was going to basic and ait for the army.
I have another Trans in the garage, but im hoping this one isnt dont yet if I fill it to proper level. Maybe......
Anyways hi again and im back! Any precautions I should take? It did smoke abit from the rear of the motor and what little gas that is in it is 2 years old, so that.will get.new next.week, and a.drain and fill of the.Trans and.diffs.
