It Worked - Pics!

So after alot of research and talking to people on here about my 3rd generation with a 2" leveling lift the only way to get 285/75's was to do something about my wheel, and since I have been wanting black rims and my BFG's had almost 70,000 miles on them it was time for a combo deal. Being that 285's would rub with my stock rim, I found the -20mm offset eagle alloy wheel series 100 hoping it would bump the tire away from the springs in the front. The negative offset bumped the wheel out and with my 265's added probably about 3/4" to the spacing. So i tried the 285's and they clear perfectly with no rubbing whatsoever without any trimming or removing any plastic. Check out the pics:

Guess its amazing what just 1/2" will do. I have a 2 1/2" lift on mine with the same size tires and didn't have a problem.

Yours looks nice-white is always a good color!

it is a daystar 2" leveling kit i bought from www.4wheelparts.com, I just called and asked what they had for a 99 4runner and this was the one of the recommended kits. The rims were $106.00 a piece from www.dubsandtires.com. They are local for me in south florida and dealt with them at their office so they are familiar with the rims. Check out their site or call them at 877-544-tire.
