It's amazing how hard it is to find a low mileage 4Runner 4WD

I see so many 4runners with 200,000 plus that it makes me feel like 160,000 is low :crazy: makes me want to pull the trigger on a well maintenanced one in great shape with high miles......

For that reason alone I felt very comfortable buying one with 170k. I saw so many over 250k that I had no issues spending 7k on mine.

See the only problem for me is that they are all around 10500 to 11000 some are limited some are not. Wish California folk sold them for cheaper :biggrin2:

Well maintained is the key.

A non-maintained 150k is much worse than a maintained 300k.

I just bought an '06 Sport, V8 with only 58,900 miles on it. 1 owner, well taken car of. Totally love it. I'd buy another one if I could afford it. I don't like the changes of the '10s and newer.

This truck was very hard to find. I searched for 3 months. Patience pays off.

How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking? 3 years ago I paid $16,500 for my 06 SR5 V8 that had 85k at the time.

Its crazy how many 2wd high milage t4r's there are in california.. It took me a good while to find a 4x4 v6 in california. i picked mine up for 10k w 150k mi. which is ok i think

For that many miles that's a great price. In Colorado that'd go for upwards of 19-20k easily

Not as a DD but you're a 1/2 day drive from miles of beach and from Big Bend - one of the best 4wheeling places in the country.

I periodically do an Autotrader search in Denver for 4WD Limited V8's 2005-2009. Rarely do I see a low miles local one owner with a timing belt change.

I've wanted a 4Runner my whole life but had written them off because I didn't want to pay $15k+ for a 10 year old truck with 150k+ miles on it. About a year ago I stumbled across an 06' with 59,000 miles on it for $14,000. Couldn't pass it up. They are out there if you are patient.

My 04 SR5 V6 only has 86,700 miles as of today. My father hardly drove it. He worked less 3 miles from his job. He retired and moved abroad. Sold it to me for 5,000. He bought it brand new from Toyota for almost 40k. I love my truck and will start making modifications to it.
