It's been a while, fog lights, projector retrofit

It's been a long time since I've really been on here and it feels good to be back! Lets just say a list of expensive hobbies have take up my time, but now I want to get my runner up to speed again.

First, both of my fog lights have shorted out. 2001 sr5 for reference, and I have hella micro de's in the factory location. They but the bullet becuse of moisture like they always seem to. Any way I can bring these back from the grave, or do I just need a new set?

Second, I finally completed my projector retrofit! Looks good but I'm curious if I made the right choice on my projectors. Went to the retrofit source and got mini h1 projectors since they would fit without any cutting. I feel like I don't have much light in the foreground when they are adjusted properly. Is it just me? I might actually get a set of fx-r projectors and do it over again.

With the Mini H1's, I'm not sure which generation you got, but the 5.0's have a foreground limiter. It sucks for SUV's because we are so high off the ground, but the 6.0's have a different set up. I have the H1's and they are much better than stock, but I will be bumping up to FX-R's next time.

yours is turning out very nice! I did the same exact shrouds, and now you are making me regret not adding the halos behind it, but i let my light leakage from the projector kind of fill light in the rest of the housing.

I bought everything in November of 2012 so i think they might be 5.0's. kinda bummed on that, but its making me want fx-r's so much more.
