Traded my 2012 JKU Sahara in on a 2012 T4R Trail with kdss, sunroof, nav,23k miles, the cargo slider which is coming out, 285/70/17 Nitto Terragraplers and a 6yr/60k bumper to bumper warranty and 2yr free oil changes.... which I'll never use more than likely because the dealer is over an hour away lol. The bigger tires eat up a few more mpgs than stock but ill keep them for now. It's really clean and I'll get more pics once I get my hands on really cleaning it.

Bought it in vienna va but it was sold new in Fredericksburg va.... and thanks guys. Did notice a few things on the hour+ drive home. .. the steering is much more weighted than in the jeep and that's not a bad thing just gotta get used to it. The ride is better but the nittos are a little more noisy. I may trade someone a slightly smaller tire but we will see. The cargo slider is totally useless lol and is coming out. It does have some decent get up and go... at least it doesn't have the dead space at tip-in like wranglers, which is great!

More room, better vehicle, jeeps warranty was about done, safer vehicle, more reliable. Better ride quality as well.

IMO, it's one of the coolest things about the 4Runner. Without the cargo slider, you have to reach over the protruding rear bumper to access the cargo area. If you ever try to put something somewhat heavy in there, you'll learn to greatly appreciate the slider. I use the slider pretty much every time I put something in the rear. It's also especially good when I go on extended camping trips. I can access my gear easily, and it's also ideal for dispensing water from my 7 gallon container that goes in the rear. I would be lost without it!

Well I pulled it out today lol. Honestly, and I'm sure most will scoff at this, the slider took up room where my sub box and amp are going to go. It's not a huge box, only one 12 but I gotta have my bass lol. Also reaching in back over the bumper isn't a problem for me at all.

I still need to order the flat carpet panel for the floor though. But I already like it better. .. we have so much more room for activities and stuff.

Congrats on the new rig! When you order that rug (or if you have already) can you post up the part number? I'm looking to replace my slide out cargo thing as well. Seems like a good idea that was over engineered and became a little useless. Thanks!

Yeah I will. .. should be heading to the dealer Tuesday to check a price and pick up some touch up paint. . Oh oddly enough on newer jeep jk's anytime you change the tire size you have to get a programmer to retune the trans so if shifts correctly. .... not the case with yota's I'm guessing.?

Congrats on the new ride! Your exact set up (Color and Trail Edition) was my 1st choice but the wife won out with the Blizzard Pearl SR5 Premium Package. Either way, I can not complain with our purchase and I hope you enjoy your purchase as much as I have enjoyed mine so far!
