I got these on Craigslist last evening-I can not reveal the cost for fear of mass suicide...

are these the coveted Ivan Stewart TRDs?

Tires have okay tread left on them.

That's them. They look beat on though? Or is that just me? The one pictured is missing the center cap cover too I see...

thanks for the inputs

I was told they are true TRD rims but I do agree they are a bit pitted. It's that stupid mag chloride they use in the winter here it just chews up chrome and so on.

For the most part they are just in need of a good thorough cleaning, I will get some better daytime shots up.

Also included were 2 skid plates, 4 Tokico blue shocks, 3 brake lines, one new center cap, 24 lug nuts and locking tool.

Found the MR2 on craigslist and now these...I joked with the guy perhaps he was confused on the holidays? Christmas in late May... his wife did not want the stuff laying around after a recent lift and tire/wheel upgrade

Will trade straight up for Millers tires....only half kidding...:wow:

see that steering piece in the box? Anyone need such a thing? Not sure exactly what is is or what it is called, vehicle was a Tacoma.

Im thinking fakes, due to the center cap, but a SWEET looking rim.
IIRC mine had either the toyota or the TRD stamped on the backside.

just as I suspected..TRD rims....clean 'em up quick Ron and slap 'em on your truck...or ship them to me if you're thinking twice..come on now?

Those are the Ivans. The center cap is just worn out very badly, but new ones can be had or you can buy my old beat up set.

Ric, that center cap is correct. Ron's missing the brushed aluminum cover that says "TRD". Unfortunately, the center cap is actually made in 2 pieces.

I've broken a center cap before. Upon inspection,The main piece, which you see pictured in Ron's photo, is made out of plastic. It has a spring on the back side that holds it in the wheel. The cover, which is not pictured, is just that - an aluminum cover. However, it's only held onto the black piece by adhesive...which if you're not careful, you can separate the 2 pieces of the center cap when removing it from the wheel.

My broken center cap is now used as a paper weight on my desk at work. I chunked the broken plastic piece, took the aluminum cover, filled it with nuts & bolts, then poured jb weld in it to hold everything in place. While the jb weld was still tacky, I cut out a piece of black foam padding and applied it to the bottom of the cap. Let it harden over the next few days and wholah, a functional, yet stylish looking paper weight. :bigok:

day shots and cap

Got em out in the daylight and still I think I have to be dreaming...

thanks for the feedback sirs. Rock Sl thanks for explaining the cap. I could not tell what the heck kind of pattern that was- now I see it is "dry glue". Looks kind of ghost busterish...

Dude even threw in this new one....did I mention how much I love firemen? A nice one in the Springs bought my old 2nd gen a few years back and now I meet this fine fellow....

re-read the Original post

can't yet reveal- I would set off a mass KoolAid of Guyana incident.

You're a smart guy...clue is "craigslist" and my reputation as hardcore cheapskate...don't say it...:bluejump::party::fro:
