The front took 15 minutes? Did you have a NASCAR pit crew on crack do it?

I can see how 15 minutes for the front is do able, putting the new struts on mine took 15 minutes. 3 or 4 guys could definetley bang that out quick.

In case you were wondering, It's not a dis, just never saw one like that on a 3rd gen before....

its all good man. it a TJM just like LINY4Runner's. mine is just missing the side wings.

yeah. its just the sway bar (which mine is permanently discoed) and 3 nuts on the top and one bolt on the bottom. and then the whole strut comes out.

Well, this confirms it...all you nice 4runner owners out there are capping off my decision to move to Boulder! My girlfriend and I took a trip out there this past Fall season and loved it more than words can say...We spent most of our time in Boulder and Louisville, but also went up to Estes Park and visited RMNP--coming from TN and never having been West, I knew that was where I belong.

*EDIT* We were actually in Estes Park the day the old theater burned down (i think it was the theater) in Estes Park back in October of 2009, for any locals that remember it. Crazy day, wish we could have seen more of the town, but it was still a fantastic to the old mountain town--very interested to learn of F.O. Stanley's (Stanley Steamer) hand in developing the town. We visited and had dinner at the old Stanley Hotel, which was also very incredible and interesting to learn about.

I can say this--I WILL BE MOVING TO COLORADO SOON--as soon as life allows it! Our sights are set on the Boulder/Louisville area...we are both finishing up grad school at the moment here in TN.
I went back in January with four buddies piled in an old Dodge Conversion Van Camper for 10 days and snowboarded in Vail, Beaver Creek and Steamboat.

And now that I'm a proud 4Runner owner, even more the reason with all you helpful fellas out there and the incredible terrain. See you soon boys!

Lift looks good my friend, now we'll just have to wrangle together a crew to help me do mine when I get settled out that way :frog:
