Where do we start?

I'm thinking ARB bumper (or similar) and winch for sure. After that I'm open to suggestions. Looking for trail usage and some rocks as well. Not so much into the mud. It won't have to be my daily driver but I will take it about and about a bit.

Basics about the vehicle.

97 Limited with the factory rear locker.
No known mods should be pretty much stock.

What are your thoughts?

Im not sure how mechanically inclined you are, but if i had 3K to blow i'd look into a solid front axel.

Welcome! I'd do an OME lift, rock sliders and beef up the skids. Next up would be some SpiderTrax wheelspacers and some 32"-33" tires.

verify axle seals done

keep up the maintenance first

be sure the rear axle seals have been done, if not they will need it....get to them first before they damage your rear brakes.

timing belt done on time? water pump and pulley bearings?

this kind of stuff will add up and bite you if you wait for it to break first.

lift and bumper and wow maybe even a supercharger, and then and then....
