I suppose Simple Green is OK if you let it soak in long enough.

I just use the cheap Walmart engine degreaser. I used engine brite for years and one time tried this kind. Worked just as good almost half the price.

Simple Green 19128 is a savvy, non-harmful generally useful cleaner. Mechanical quality, NSF enlisted A1, A2, A4, A8, B1, and C1. Biodegradable, VOC agreeable and can be utilized on deck, rugs, dividers, counters, apparatus and cooking surfaces.
