J-shift transfer shifter bushing?

I dropped my transfer case and tranny to replace the rear main seal (and other seals and o-rings) and to clean everything up. I noticed the transfer case shifter (I have the standard J-shifter) had a bunch of crud that looked like the remnants of an old black shifter bushing like they have in the 5-speed boxes. I used to replace them in my Celicas and Supras with Marlin Crawler bushings for a much better feel. I did notice MC has the blue transfer case bushings, but when I looked at the Toyota parts schematics for the shifter I did't see any mention of a bushing anywhere. Was there actually a bushing in the J-shifter case or does it just rely on the case oil for lubrication? When I put the shifter back in after cleaning all the gunk off it was still pretty tight, I don't know that a bushing would even fit well in there.

There is a bushing in there. When I helped [MENTION=102606]infamousRNR[/MENTION] replace his transmission, his bushing was disintegrating but was still mostly there. We replaced it with the one Marlin Crawler sells. The bushing is made with those indentations so you can pivot it in place in the transfer case because those metal posts that protrude out.

I'd put a bit of grease on it. It isn't sealed below, so it will get splashed from below with gear oil in time.
