Awesome build! As much time as I've spent on here I've never seen your rig before. Your fab skills are wicked good too. Keep it up, can't wait to see what else you've got in store. I'd be all over that bracket and windshield washer reservoir if you ever decided to build them.

The 4Runner is replacing my highly modified and capable Subaru. Stock 4Runner certainly leaves a bit to be desired in offroad performance.

Simple solution here. Don't leave it stock.

Did not have a single issue with 4Runner temps. Only downside was a low of 6.5 mpg due to crosswinds.

And to bring us up to date, I welded on the sliders last weekend.

Here are some shots of the sliders I built last year.









Here they are welded on. I tucked them in closer that I originally intended but I like the way they hug the rocker panel.











These will come in handy when we run the Lockwood/Miller Jeep Trail at the end of August.

mind if i ask what your parallel spacing is between your two long bars? plan on making my own sliders too and these look very practical. nice work.

Well we have decided to keep the most reliable vehicle we have ever owned. With a little fanangling it will continue to suit our needs.

I have been getting a strange noise out of the front end for a few months now. Upon inspection you can see the lower bushings on the Bilsteins are torn and spitting out. I think there was some metal to metal contact somewhere down there. Luckily it looks like the Bilsteins will be warrantied.

I am also cleaning the trans strainer "filter" and replacing strainer o-ring plus pan gasket.
