Japanese black tail lights on my silver 05 Sport V8

I already have the smoked headlamps...I havent put them on yet though (the corner screw it a pain to get to)

I love the look over the heads and tails on mine, but just can't seem to write the check.

Those headlamps give it even a more aggressive look. I may have to get them before the tails. Don't mean to hi-jack but Momo, is that front skid plate from TRD? Looks just the ones they put on the Tundra.

I agree that it looks a little more aggressive with the black headlights...

I had the skid plate from a 2002 4Runner Sport on my 96 4Runner.....

I took it off before I sold it and have it on my 05 4Runner now
 
Yeah I do like that. The only thing that throws it off a little is the clear/white foglamps but I still like how it looks better then factory. So, do that Japanese versions come factory with all smoked lamps (maybe I'll move to Japan :D)?

*Edit - How much does that front skid plate run (insatallation also)?
 
That is a bad ass set up. Damn now I have to get a set. Just have to hide it from the wife. lol
 
You continue to amaze me with your quantity of great mods. With this thread you are making me wish I got the black tails instead of my chrome trim. I was going to get the black tails and then see if I wanted to put the chrome trim on them, but a couple sources said they wouldn't fit. I still don't buy it though......the black and the red look like the same shape. Are they? The exterior surface, I mean, because that is where the chrome trim attaches.

I wish I had more money!:dammit:
 
Luxury...I will compare my stock ones to the japanese ones and see if I can tell a difference....from what I remember, they were the same to me...
 
Doug, those front and rear JDM black front and rear look pucking awesome man! I cant wait till I get mine in 4 to 5 more weeks!! Those lights really set a 4R apart from a stock ones!!

sorry I've been really busy lately...closing on a house...going to training for work and stuff...I'll try to get the headlights in this weekend. I also need to get close up shots of the headlights for Luxury and compare the tails to the stock ones. I also need to get sound clips of the TRD dual exhaust...so I have a LOT i need to catch up on *haha*
