Over the weekend, I took some time to install the Jardine #89218 catback exhaust system. Overall, it went pretty smoothly, although it took a torch to remove the catalytic converter bolts. I still have some modding to do because the pipe coming out of the muffler is too long and is causing the tailpipe to hit the underside of the body above the axle. If I cut about .5" off, it should be just right and not hit. We'll see how that goes (it's always a pain to take things apart again)!
At idle, the sound is just a little louder than stock, but much deeper. When you get on it, things get much louder. You can really hear the exhaust through the 3.5" tip. Overall, I'm pleased with the system. If you like things fairly loud, it's the way to go. A smaller tip might quiet things down a bit. Hit me up if you have any questions! Now on to the pics...
