I know I just placed the order and I want them to be here like tomorrow. The lead time for these bumpers is rediculous.

1 Month for CBI
3 Months for Shrockworks
2 Months for sliders

I decided to go with a full OME setup. The 5100s were great but I dont like mixing and matching different parts (OCD). That way everything is guaranteed to work, plus I really like OME. I have OME shocks and struts on my Wrangler and am very pleased.

Ha, I know the feeling of wanting things right away. What sliders are you going with? Shrockworks? Have you taken a look at Perkins, Demello or CBI sliders? All three are within the same price range, bolt on and can usually be sent within a month.

Also, not to bad mouth Shrockworks because they do offer exceptional quality products and do keep in constant communication, but you may have to adjust your expectations. I hope I'm wrong and they are able to deliver within the quoted time frame but you should be mentally prepared for delays.

Going with the Shrockworks. I have heard about the delays. My dad ordered the sliders as a Xmas Gift back in November. I called them today and they said it should arrive late Jan early Feb. Well see. The bumper prob wont arrive till like next year haha.

Update 01/12/12

Installed a yellow Top and Aux Fuse Block
Also had a chance to finally install my 06 LED Taillights

And the most important mod of all......

UPDATE!!!! Got my CBI Bumper today. Took me right under 5 hours to install by myself. The install went pretty smooth. Steve and Nathan at CBI are AWESOME. I must have called steve like 7 Times with questions and he helped me through it. The color of the bumper matches my fenders EXACTLY. I cant even begin to describe the quality of this Tire Carrier. EVERY hole, bolt, screw lined up PERFECTLY. 100% bolt on!!! VERY HAPPY WITH IT!!!! Just need to wire up the License plate light and tow hitch plug.

Now its time to Ice my back....ENJOY!

I must say their bumper is the best quality I have EVER seen. The work Steve and Nathan do over at CBI is second to none. The craftsmanship and quality is amazing. Ill take some good pics Thursday after my Perkins rack and Shorckworks sliders are installed.

Busy week for my 4runner.

Installed CB radio/firestick, sport edition Hood, shrockworks sliders, Perkins rack, ARB on board air compressor. Pics wil be posted tomorrow. Stay tuned!!!

The Sliders were a Huuuge PITA to install. The rear bracket on the driver side took me about 1 hour to get the bolt through. There is 0 room. Also The corner of the bracket is touching the underside of the body as well. When I go over certain bumps i can hear a TAP sound. Like someone is underneath tapping with a hammer. One of these days ill bring it down and grind the edge off. Other than that everything went together fine.
