Is freaking stellar. Yeah, it's not the greatest car stereo I've ever had but when you get the balance right and crank it up to around 40+ w/ some good tunes of your choice it has some pretty damn good fidelity and I have absolutely no complaints about the clarity or loudness at that volume. Anyway, I've only seen a few debbie-downer reviews on the upgraded stereo so I thought I'd share my experience.
FYI I don't listen to hippity hop so maybe that's why I like the system so much, it does just fine w/ some old school Van Halen/Toto/.38 special or some new school Neon Trees/FUN/Young The Giant.
With my crappy old VW Golf TDI Dynaudio all I listened to was talk radio - feels good to actually be able to enjoy music again!!!
Anyway, it's worth the extra scratch in my book. :horn:
