Will an 07 JBL 10 speaker heard unit fit on my 06 ?

I have option code DE with is a 6 disk in dash mp3/wma.

Will this be plug and play swap ??? I already have the Ipod jack in the center console .

Does this JBL have a built in amp ? will it sound better than my stock unit ?? anything i should know about install ??

I'm not 100% sure but I went from a 04 JBL 6indash to an 07 JBL 6indash and it fit perfectly and just plugged right in. My guess is there is not an amp on the unit.

All units with the JBL symbol on the front require an external amplifier.
