JBL stereo question

Hi all, got a quick question. Does the JBL sound system have a mute line in for the radio? I am trying to get my Parrot car kit installed, and need to know the specifics before hand. Also, is the JBL system internally or externally amplified.

It's externally amplified. Amp is in the trunk where the sub is. Not sure about mute
