Year One
Full of piddly little aesthetic mods and such.

I purchased it on 3/12/11 from Yokem Toyota in Shreveport, LA. Awesome group of guys over there. The next week I broke her in on a trip to Orange Beach

Added a Aries Brush Guard and 2 Hella 500's

And I installed a Curt Receiver Hitch to add my Yakima Bike rack

Installed and later removed a Cobra CB with a 26" Mag mount I got from Wal-Mart

Getting in the Christmas spirit with some roof rack Christmas lights!

Blacked out Sport rims

Now the real mods begin

Installed an OME/Toytec light duty 3" lift. Affectionately known as Operation Gingerlift! Big thanks to Brunes and everyone else in Cajun Yotas that helped out

Supervision

Then began the search for rubber. Matt (Blueanimal) gave me 4 Firestone Desination MT's that he had laying around and was kind enough to let me borrow his rims until I could get them swapped over

Added a set of Satin Black FJ Cruiser wheels with the Destination MT's

Spidertrax 1.25" Hub Centric Wheel Spacers and BHLM

Added my BFGoodrich KM1's and relocated my CB antenna mount

Custom Rear Cargo Drawers

Hanma 30" BC Series LED Bar

Got the hitch installed today, sorta. It was sturdy enough to hook up the bike rack but not to tow. The drivers side was a breeze but the muffler only allowed me to put 2 of the 4 bolts on the passenger side. Anybody have any ideas on how to remedy this?? Will post pics tomorrow

Lower the muffler by removing one of the muffler supports and or use a ratchet wrench for the tight space

Only have them mounted for now. Don't have the time to get down to the actual wiring today. Just wanted to see how they looked.

I used a crow's foot with my torque wrench to get those, but didn't need to do anything with the muffler/resonator.

Thanks. I need to get around to fixing this. Been too busy looking for new mods I haven't been able to finish the ones I've already started

You can also remove the rubber hanger near the resonator and gently push the tailpipe outward to allow enough room for a socket extension to get up to the bolts... start threading them in by hand of course. Good luck! Runner's lookin' good!

Did a little bit of light off-roading this past week

Just went out and got 3 cans of Plasti-Dip, planning on tackling the rims and front grill insert this week. Also, have a 1" Toytec Front spacer on the way as well as two more Hellasarty:

My new Hella's are here to replace the cracked ones, thanks gaterose. :reddance: Should be getting my 1" Toytec spacer this week. Anyone wanna help me with install?

Well it's been 3 months since I did anything to my truck. Went out and got a CB radio and magnetic antenna mount. Installed it in my dorm parking lot tonight. Will post up pictures tomorrow.

Next up is a complete LED swap of the instrument panel radio. Really looking forward to getting rid of this awful orange. It puts me to sleep.

I got a 26" magnetic mount antenna from Wally-World for $15. It's not very noticeable and I have been happy with the reception so far.

My CB also has an attachment for a bullhorn. Thinking about sticking one under the hood for a little fun. Will grab pictures of the CB this afternoon. Depending on how long I decide to keep the CB I plan on upgrading to a hatch mounted Firestick.
