JB's 2000 Runner Easy as it goes build

Hello all, Ive been creeping the forms for some year and recently just made an account and started posting. Here's my baby, got her back in December 2013 after my 1989 4runner that had been in the family since when it was bought new got hit while parked :cry2:.

So We took the money from the totaled out old Runner and bought this gem in SoCal for 5k , 2000 Highlander edition Elocker with 230k miles on it, drove it back to Nebraska where I live and have been making minor mods once i get a little money. Enjoy

Interior Upgrades

1st thing i did was Add the CB radio into the Ash try spot easy to do.

2nd was the LED interior lighting, still working on the gauge cluster the #74 and 198 didnt fit.. still doing research on those.

3rd at about the time I had my dash all torn apart for the LED lighting I snagged up a Surf Field Monitor off ebay. installed that aswell, i had actually pre-wired everything before it even got here so it was just a matter of connecting a few wires and changing over the switches and 30 min later i had it up and running.


Next was the Dvd/radio/stereo unit. had been looking for a few months at getting a new one then found this pioneer on ebay for for about 1/2 the cost of a new one being that it was refurbished. I ran the Aux cables and the USB cables through the center console and popped them out in that nifty storage hole nxt to the parking break that way i can keep all the wires out of the way. Also that Blue switch if you can see it is for video use for the passengers you know

Thx man, debating on the next upgrade. as you can see someone stole the hubcaps when it was sitting on the car lot before i bought it so im gonna have to find some at some point. trying todo just minor easy upgrades, I dont have a garage or shop to do any work in its mainly in the Apt complex parking lot.

Who knows. It was let's say a car lot that was well in a sketch part of SO-Cal, also the 2 other 4runners had theirs gone aswell.
