So, bought a JDM motor out of Dallas for a 3rd Gen T4R I have. The motor is suppose to have 65k or less. I conducted a compression test on it while on the engine stand, and the results were not good (1=75psi, 3=100psi, 2=150). Should I expect crappy results from a cold motor that's been setting in a warehouse for who knows how long? I've never owned a warehouse motor before, but I've had plenty that were in the vehicle and set for a long period of time, and they ran like crap till they got warmed up and loosened up. Am I kidding myself that I might not need to pull it apart and do a ring and valve job? Thanks in advance for any advice.
