Jensen Heavy Duty stereo head units?

Anyone have experience with the Jensen Heavy Duty stereo units? I guess they're designed for OTR truckers. I like the idea because they're constructed very ruggedly and have built in NOAA Weather band. Just wondering if anyone's got experience with them?

Also, those of you who have installed aftermarket single DIN head units, how difficult was it? Does the stock radio pretty much pull right out? Any issues involving wiring or was it pretty much 'plug and play?'
