Hey guys i have a question. When i turn my wheel on dry surfaces it gets really stiff SOMETIMES and jerk almost kicking back at me. When i'm on snow it doesn'y do it at all. It only dors it mostly when i am sitting still barely ever when i'm moving. I know the belt on the ps pump is very lose do you guys think that could be the cause? If so how do i tighten it? I have not looked at it yet on how to tighten it thanks!

Yes, a loose power steering belt will cause a lack of boost. Essentially you have manual steering, which is why the effect is lessened on slick surfaces, i.e. snow and wet roads. If you have a 2nd gen 4r like mine, there is no tensioner. You will need to loosen the mounting bolts on the PS pump and set belt tension by hand. Find a friend to tighten the bolts as you maintain belt tension with your hand or something else.
