I test drove a 2000 4runner with automatic transmission. When I put it in 4low, the transmission shifting was jerky and abrupt, even though I didn't accelerate hard. Is this normal for 4Runners? The owner claims it is. The vehicle shifted smoothly in 2WD and 4WD high. if it isn't normal, what is the likely problem? Any help you could provide a prospective 4runner owner is much appreciated.
