thanks. driving at night is a whole new world. I've never had projectors in any of my cars, so i'm really liking it.

yea it's definitely a fun project, not terribly difficult...but you're right, kind of expensive. I bought eBay headlights for like $215, and the projector kit was like $240, so that's $455. However, I still have my OEM headlights in the garage. So i could probably sell them for close to $200 per light. But what I'll probably do is put the OEM's back on when I get rid of the truck and sell these on here for closer to what it cost me to make them. so you just have to look at it as an investment you can enjoy (which is exactly how I explained it to the fiance :thumb3

I think so...Antman was thinking about doing it. Did you change your bulb after blacking them out? I'm not getting much light output from them now.

quick question for you. Any issues with the kdss after the new suspension and lift? Just got my 2012 and much like yourself come from the tacoma spectrum and am ready to mod it up with only 50 miles on it

everything ive read makes it sound as though the kdss only affects the sway basr so shouldnt be an issue lifting or usings the top plate spacer mod to level it out.

Lifting with KDSS is no problem. Numerous trails with lifts and no problem. It just takes different steps to install.

Replaced my older BFG Mud-Terrains with the newer style. Still same size 285-70-17. Got one up in my spare slot too. Just had to pull it close to the hitch while pulling it up.

Just FYI Jesse, The 295/65x18 fits too, hangs a bit low at the diff but it's up there :bigok:
