thanks harper! don't forget UCA's too!! yup 285's should be on by the weekend. there is more then enough room now lol

No problems with the UCA's? I called TC last week and they said they are working on one for the 5th. I was in touch with the engineer for the Light Racing UCA's today and they are about to do a test fit.

For the 285's ,you'll probably still get the mudflap rub and maybe front liner. Just slot the 2 bottom holes on the liner and pull it forward and retighten. No need to cut them.

no problems, as you can see from the pic they went right on. On My Tacoma I put them on, and took them back off again, so I spent a decent amount of time up close and personal with the UCA/spindle. That's why i kept them; after looking at the set-up on the runner I was convinced Toyota used the same parts (which isn't uncommon for them). Plus my alignment isn't bad at all after lifting it. I expected it to be pretty off, but it isn't.

Wow...awesome...can't wait to see the stance differance.

:reddance:

P.S. Don't forget to change your sig line...she ain't stock no mo'

the stance difference is pretty dramatic, especially with the 265's still on. I'll get a pic maybe tonight if it's still light when i get home.

and yea, guess I'll change that sig

Most of the stuff arrived today. still waiting on the rear shocks. Install may be pushed back too depending on when my damage is getting fixed. Pumped to have these things ready to go though.

do you mind giving me the specs for these parts? How much did all the items cost? Is the front adjustable like a coilover for height?

rears will raise too?

thanks i'm new to truck suspensions.

look at my post on 3/19, that will give you the link to all the info regarding what i purchased. the front is an adjustable coilover, yes.

forgive me for this pic, it's cold out, raining, nasty. my driveway is on a downhill in the rear so it makes it look like the front is sitting higher.

add some tint and that ride is gonna look sick as hell! It already does, but who would I be without convincing you to spend more money?! Great job!

Looks good, makes me go back to thinking of the 3"/2" OME kit for my truck. Cant wait to see it with the rubber, then i think i will have my final decision.

Holy hell! Looks great Jesse! Glad the install went fairly smooth for ya. Can't wait to see some pics with the new rubber - the bfg muds will change the entire look/stance. Congrats and I'll keep my eye out for ya on 83 man!

:boink:

Looking good, Jesse!

Any problems with fitting the 285's? Wheels are 17"? How wide are the wheels? Did you have to slide the front fender forward and do anything to the mudflaps to fit? I want to get ATX Artillery wheels, 17X9.

Is the front logo attached only by adhesive? Any special trick to removing it safely?
