**Update 3/24**
3/24: Did some crawling/offroad stuff this past week and the biggest immediate issues I'm running into is rear tire clearance and not having a locker. The locker is easy, found one at a junk yard in Nevada and it's already on it's way here. I may do the 4.88 gears with the locker install. As far as the rubbing, it's only happening at full flex. I tried trimming over an inch off the quarters but it's still bad.

After cutting, hammering, it's still bad if I really flex
So now the question is do I try to clearance it a little more, modify the factory flares and re-install them to keep the factory look? Or should I keep cutting till they fit the way I want, weld in custom rear wheel wells, and modify some Tacoma fiberglass bedsides to fit?

Ya I'm most likely going to get Solo's fabricated spindles. I need to get the rear ended caught up with front first

I've never been a big fan of the fiberglass on 3rd gens, I would just bump it where it's at unless you REALLY want more up travel. I saw your pics on facebook somewhere and then randomly came across your thread yesterday, truck looks sweet!
Thanks man. That's my problem though, I want a minimum of 20" of travel in the rear when I'm done. I don't really like the fiberglass I've seen on runners either to be honest so maybe I could just find a larger flare that could be modified to work?
