Heading to Cincinnati to get a nice jeep YJ seat to put in a 3rd row.
Will post pics of install when I get it in.

Put some 2000 headlights in the other day and got an overhead console to throw in too.

Did you ever get that seat installed? I used a 2nd gen bucket seat as a 3rd row seat. It gave me the seating capacity needed for my family and left some storage room as well.

Just read through the whole thread. Your Runner is looking good. I need to sit down and do my own build thread some day. I've had a lot of changes in the last year.

Some updates.

Got the sliders installed with help from some members here.
Put all new brakes on the rear. They are finally tight after much adjustment.
Also got a brand new Steering rack!!

Mount done. For now. Needs to be about an inch further out on the angle iron part but I can just make another one after it bugs me enough times.

Do you have a write up on how you modded your grill or where the parts can be bought? It looks very nice! Well done.

The only parts were threaded rod and wire mesh from lowes.
There are plenty write ups out there for these. I am glad you like it though. If you need any help send me a message

not too much to update, i changed passenger side wheel bearing a couple months ago then the control arm bushings last weekend. went over 200k time to plan TB/WP.

Well this is my latest nightmare. Happened right at the end of my driveway. See the rock drive. Yeah that's my driveway.

LBJ failure!!!

Jammed my tire right up into my fender.

And I had to get it towed down my driveway about 3/10 ths of a mile.

All parts have been replaced and just last night I was still kinda pissed about my fender so I laid my shoulder into it and now atleast I can open my passenger door.

I'd still call the company about that LBJ. Failure in less than one year is pretty bad. They should pay the cost of repair.

Did some wheeling last night on mine and my neighbors property. Enough to stuff my rear tire up into the fender so that it popped off the fender flare. Which I suppose was a good thing because now I found some rust spots that need fixed. All things happen for a reason though cause I had both my bumpers off already to prepare for my new winch and to do some extensive cleaning. Lol.

Took my winch off and got started on rusty body repair.

Yup. That rusted all the way through.
Fiberglass to the rescue!! Gonna use fiberglass mat and duraglass then a small coat of bondo.
Gotta find that yellow flare clip now. Think it's like $10 at the dealer.

Got my new winch mostly mounted to today. Still gotta wire up my blinkers and mount the front bumper the rest of the way.

Made progress on the rust repair. All new fiberglass. Didn't go for showroom because it will be covered by the fender flare anyway.

Just ordered some paint from Touch Up Paint and Accessories | AutomotiveTouchup

So looking forward to be out on the road again, but will probably hit my own trails first been working on them for a couple weeks now.

What kind of LBJ failed on you? You only had it for a year?
