Just bought my first 4Runner!
2000 Limited with the Rear Dif locker. It took me a few weeks to track a decent one down, but it's in great shape despite having 218k miles.
Everything is stock for now. Ultimately my goals included a 3 inch suspension lift, 255/85/R16s, steel bumpers, winch, sliders, armor, and a crazy roof rack idea - but maintenance comes first.
The truck drives well, but clearly needs every fluid but the oil changed and a new timing belt (this one is original ... at 218k!). I'll definitely follow the maintenance guides in this forum, but if anyone has specific advice of things to look out for - I'm always up to learn more!
