Joining the negative MPG group. TRD FJ Wheels and 285/75

Well I didn't want to buy new wheels and tires but came into a great deal for a set of FIVE!

Put them on in the parking lot when I got them.

Those look good! maybe you could paint the rims black but paint the center caps red...i think thatd look sick.

Get some Bleche White for that those and they'll come out like new!

Please please please don't paint those rims...if you're gonna change the color take them to Smoking Gun over in Decatur and let Bryan powder coat them. It's really not all that expensive and the results are unexpectedly good...like awesome. I will keep them this way for a while. When I get bored with them...then I will paint them so I don't have to get new ones.

They're nice, but I think they look too futuristic on a 3rd gen. Matte black might be the trick.

I was thinking the same thing unless the 883's give you considerably more lift those look like 265/75's, but don't get me wrong they still look great. I agree with you leave them till you feel the need to do another mod and cure that with powdercoating your new wheels!
