Bedlining the wheels and fender flares

JS,

I am interested in doing the bedlining on my flares and wheels. Been looking at options, and I may steal your idea. Can you talk to me about the process? Did you do it yourself with more than 1 coat? Heat after?

x2. I'm interested in this as well. I will need to protect the fenders with some kind of liner and I'm flip flopping between your solution and something more substatial, such as Herculiner. Thoughts?

Hi Jsmarine, that's the best custom fit guage and mount I have seen for a 4 runner. Where can I get one like that from ?
 
I dont know why I'm not getting the emails letting me know when someone replies to this thread, Ive got the subscription setting on. I know I'm bad for not getting on here much anymore since Im hanging out on the Tacomaworld site now.

Sksurf - I cant remember where I got that gauge pod, but it actually didn't really fit that great, I think it was for a 1st gen Tacoma. I got it to fit best I could, and also painted it to match best I could.

T4R switched servers or something a while back and reset everyone's subscriptions. It sucks, but o well. Do you still have the Tacoma?

Yeah, I fixed the subscription now. And yeah, I still have the Tacoma, love it. I havent done much to it though in a while, bought a home a little over a year ago so the truck budget has become the house budget for now.
 
Im really liking your build! I was wondering about your tire setup. I have a 3 inch toytec lift on the way and I was wondering if you get any rub with the 285's using the stock rims. I was planning on using my stock rims as well

Well, I sold my 4runner 3 years ago; but to answer your question, with a 3 inch lift you should have no problems running 285/75/16 tires on stock rims. I dont remember any rubbing.
