Full tank of gas(can fill up at meet spot with Chevron next door). Good attitude. Clothes for various weather conditions as it is never constant in the mtns. Folding chairs. Tools and spares parts you might have.

Trails:
Pilot Rock 2N33, difficult group will run 2N17X. ends up at Highway 173 near Rock camp in Arrowhead. This portion should be finished between 1100-1:00.

At this point can decide to run highway to Deep Creek(2N62Y) Families can hang out at the water. Difficult group can run Dishpan 2N34 then on to Holcomb 2N93. There are several options once done with Pilot Rock trail. Another option is to run 2N34 from Pinnacles staging area(near end of Pilot Rock) to Deep Creek.

I would like Brian2Sun, Drifter33 or Jmoney to lead the difficult run 2N17x and possibly the follow on difficult trails.

We may want to organize two runs in July

Moderate: John Bull, Holcomb, Dishpan, Gold Mt, Miller ( lots more)

Blue : Cleghorn, Rattlesnake Canyon, Bees, ( lots more)

Many thanks to the organizers, you made a first time off-roader very welcome.

Would love to continue this and learn from you guys :lookout:

My next step is proper tires.

Tentative for me, Ive got a trackday at ACS on the 9th and Laguna Seca MotoGP 22-24. I'd like to hone my skills with another easy trail similar to the one we did.

I am interested in doing a moderate trail but it'll depend on the date. Can't do July 9th. The weekend after, I will be busy on either 16th or 17th, not sure which date yet.

July Trail Run - YES!

I had a blast, and would love to do another easy trail run. Hopefully I can buy my tires by then. The sooner you guys come up with a date and run, the easier it is for me to get it off.

Thanks ~ Biggs ~

I'd be in if it's after the weekend 8th-11th July. This is Toyota120.com Big Bear Braii (campout). Of course you guys are welcome to come to that. Usually there are three run groups for different levels of participation.

Theres also a run the weekend of 29th-31st July to the Sierras.

So I would vote for either 16th or 23rd July.

Cheers
Mark

I can do the 16th or the 30th. Maybe we can have some T4R.ORG stickers for the next run? I'm also wondering if for fairness sake we should cycle the meets between the major SoCal regions, LA, IE, and San Diego. Perhaps we should identify trail leaders within the SoCal Club who are experienced with trails in LA/San Diego areas so we can facilitate meets there.
