My trucks with my mechanic doing some warranty work on the rear axle seals. But past that I'm ready haha

Can't wait to put this compressor to the test, now I just need lockers to go with it, hahaha. Bumpers first, then lockers. 2017 is going to be expensive.

My air locker pisses me off. The seals are toast which is allowing oil into the air line. So the locker still functions, but every time I turn the locker off hot oil shoots out of the compressor

Interesting. Sounds like it's time for a rebuild? It'll be awhile until I get lockers, they aren't on the need list and ATRAC gets it done the majority of the time. Mostly just got this for OBA for airing up because I don't want to keep buying 60 dollar cheap compressors.

YEAH lockers!!! I know what you mean brotha! Doing all this mod and I still have new rims and 285's in the future. I'm thinking about getting the Mickey Thompson classic Baja with beadlock. What do you think? Currently waiting for my allpro rear springs, suppose to be here Thursday. Then a quick few hours mod to put it in. All this to get it ready for Saturday. LOL!!

Not good. Like Danny says maybe time for a rebuild. I have Spartan lockers and although I don't have to turn it on/off, it definitely changes how you drive.

I like the Mickey Thompsons, good choice. I'm still leaning towards the FJ steelies for mine. I really don't want to pay a ton for rims just to scratch them up off road. Getting down to the last of the major mods for 2016. Hoping to pick up coil overs at Black Friday and that's it for this year for big purchases. Bumpers, roof rack, lockers next year. MAYBE roof rack this year if our Christmas bonus is good.

Good choice with the steelies. I like the classics! Are you going with CL roof rack that Soso ordered from? I like that roof rack, looks like gobi.
Pulling the rear diff was a PITA, glad I had help. I was going to re-gear too but didn't have the equp to do it. I have 4.56 gear sitting in my garage with new bearings. I have a V8 so we'll see power loss when I go to 285's.

Nah, Sunday I was ready to go and just about to take off...then Jillian my daughter FaceTime me, "Dad can we go to back to school clothes shopping, shoes, backpack and go get school supplies"?...
"But of course, why not? I wasn't gonna do anything today anyways" I'm on my way...
So I also called up a buddy of mine who's been wheeling forever and asked if he may have any info, track files or video for white mountain specifically. He ended up have a couple vids and one of his own GPS track files with tagged drop pins and waypoints with notes/description he added for each of them.
So I edited/added some info to our map based off what I collected from his info and his tracks I figured any extra info or possible options wouldn't hurt.
It seems as though there's a lot of interest in camping for this run..so I added a bunch of the surrounding camp grounds in that area to the first page map. If you click on the picnic table icon it will bring up location ,phone number and detailed info I also took the time and added photos or vid clips for each of them I found throughout the web so you can see how they look to make a decision.
Any symbol you see should have info I collected and added to help anyone in anyway it can.
And the Orange route is (Forrest Rd 2N13) ...[U [MENTION=106327]GVL[/MENTION][/U] shared some info with me and asked if the end of the trail run was gonna be back to where we started? Yes..well instead of doing 3N16 again (valid point) which is a long and boring route that 2N13 ends where we started and will get us back in the same amount of time, it's a different trail, more scenic and less to no other vehicles on that route.
So I located the trail on the map and highlighted the route based on guessing at what info [MENTION=106327]GVL[/MENTION] Gave me and assumed this is the route or way he was speaking/thinking of as a different option.
Which I think is probably a solid idea and a good idea ..as you can see the trail seems pretty straight forward. It also goes through some areas I wanted to see and checkout..hahaha.
But I put it in orange just as an option if it doesn't work for us or majority not headed back that way then we decide and scratch that option at that point.
Truly, appreciate that extra local knowledge/info [U [MENTION=106327]GVL[/MENTION][/U] and the tide bit on a more low key route also being a better option and scenic direct route back. Thank you for sharing that, brotha.

The biggest and most commen issue with that locker kit/set up. That would piss me off for $1200 locker system.
As always with anything and Everything has it Pro's and cons...

FYI, looks like crab flats campground is booked for Saturday night, and Big Pine Flats is first come first serve.
My buddy and I both got sites at Crab Flats. Pretty sure it's 2 vehicles per site, but doesn't say how many tents per site. He may already have a buddy sharing his site, but I have room for one more if anyone wants to use up my second vehicle spot. Also hoping to be at camp before it gets dark so I'm not setting up in the dark and there's some relax time. I'll gauge how the run is going by the halfway point before deciding if I'm going to split off from the group or not.

I'm so jelly of everyone getting new parts! I will prolly need to wait til next year to mod my 4R just got audited by the IRS

I might take you up on that, Jillian says she wants to do this run with me. what she says as of now but usually changes the evening before or morning of each run.lol.
But I will throw the camping idea at her and see if she bites at that. cause as of now I'm picking her up in the morning on my way to head for big bear, she also asked me how many kids were going and what time would we be done?
um dunno...and dunno. you still wanna go? Fine, yeah. Ok lets do it.
So I will see if she would prefer camping or not..it would be her first in the mountains.
