I'm so jelly of everyone getting new parts! I will prolly need to wait til next year to mod my 4R just got audited by the IRS oh well they can't stop me from wheelin tho!

I might take you up on that, Jillian says she wants to do this run with me. what she says as of now but usually changes the evening before or morning of each run.lol.
But I will throw the camping idea at her and see if she bites at that. cause as of now I'm picking her up in the morning on my way to head for big bear, she also asked me how many kids were going and what time would we be done?
um dunno...and dunno. you still wanna go? Fine, yeah. Ok lets do it.

So I will see if she would prefer camping or not..it would be her first in the mountains.

Yeah it was a random audit, I have 30 days to cut a check for the full amount or do payments. I think I'm just gonna cut a check tho and be done with it. Don't wanna **** with the irs!

Sounds like you need to leave her at home, hahah. Need to get her on board for camping. The more comfortable for her, the more fun for you and the kids. Think roof top tent for you and her, shower tent, onboard water, toilet tent? And then the kids can sleep on the ground in the regular tent, hahaha.

Had to do the same with my son. The more fun he had the more likely he was going to want to do it again. The cots were a life changer for both of us, he loves not sleeping on the ground and so do I.

Your ability to trust others is probably the most important. This group would never leave anyone behind or make you do something you aren't comfortable with. If you have an issue, we have the equipment to get you through. Most of the time, as difficult as it may look, all you need to do is point your tires where your spotter tells you to.

If your not experienced this is a awesome opportunity if you want to get your feet wet. like [MENTION=114863]4RunningDaily[/MENTION] said we won't be leaving anyone behind and just trust people that are spotting you, if you can't make it through a section on your own there is a lot of combined experienced to help you out. And we're all looking forward to the rain, I really really hope it rains a little it will keep the dust down. ( but I wanna run topless haha)

Alright you guys have talked me into it. Count me in. I'll either have a friend riding shotgun or he'll be in his 100 series Land Cruiser. I'm pretty sure he'll be in my car though. I have a 2016 TEP and am getting Goodyear Duratrac's put on tomorrow.

Front bumper chopped, might still need to chop the rear, but we'll see this weekend. I've been hitting my cut off mudflaps just enough to annoy me at full stuff so I'll take those off and see if it fixes the rear rubbing. Is it Friday yet?

-Bad news is...we were filming up by acton last Friday and we were evacuated because of the fire. The location we were at burned to a crisp 2 hours after we left. Now we have to make up for last Friday's lost filming time this Saturday. Probably one of the 4 Saturday's I have to work all year has to be this one. F'n A

So I'm having trouble hearing the words coming out of your mouth lately!! Even when trying to read your post I can't understand the words you speak it all sounds like jiibberish crap!! Cause I haven't heard you mention the good news yet? Well? Or is it just me?
Cause last I checked having/owning a 4Runner is meaningless and useless if your not wheeling it at least minimum of once a month!!! 4FUKSAK!!

So I need to hear some good news from you in order to hear what you have to say anymore....and I'm gonna try and help once again resolve your bad news (WEENIE excuses) hopefully for the last time.

There will be No need to go to work Saturday morning, so see you on the mountain!! Now we can wheel and enjoy the trails and a good view of the two fires burning in the far distance. TGIFirday...mean Friday hahahahaha

Nah, Sunday I was ready to go and just about to take off...then Jillian my daughter FaceTime me, "Dad can we go to back to school clothes shopping, shoes, backpack and go get school supplies"?...
"But of course, why not? I wasn't gonna do anything today anyways" I'm on my way...

So I also called up a buddy of mine who's been wheeling forever and asked if he may have any info, track files or video for white mountain specifically. He ended up have a couple vids and one of his own GPS track files with tagged drop pins and waypoints with notes/description he added for each of them.
So I edited/added some info to our map based off what I collected from his info and his tracks I figured any extra info or possible options wouldn't hurt.

It seems as though there's a lot of interest in camping for this run..so I added a bunch of the surrounding camp grounds in that area to the first page map. If you click on the picnic table icon it will bring up location ,phone number and detailed info I also took the time and added photos or vid clips for each of them I found throughout the web so you can see how they look to make a decision.
Any symbol you see should have info I collected and added to help anyone in anyway it can.

And the Orange route is (Forrest Rd 2N13) ...[U [MENTION=106327]GVL[/MENTION][/U] shared some info with me and asked if the end of the trail run was gonna be back to where we started? Yes..well instead of doing 3N16 again (valid point) which is a long and boring route that 2N13 ends where we started and will get us back in the same amount of time, it's a different trail, more scenic and less to no other vehicles on that route.
So I located the trail on the map and highlighted the route based on guessing at what info [MENTION=106327]GVL[/MENTION] Gave me and assumed this is the route or way he was speaking/thinking of as a different option.
Which I think is probably a solid idea and a good idea ..as you can see the trail seems pretty straight forward. It also goes through some areas I wanted to see and checkout..hahaha.
But I put it in orange just as an option if it doesn't work for us or majority not headed back that way then we decide and scratch that option at that point.

Truly, appreciate that extra local knowledge/info [U [MENTION=106327]GVL[/MENTION][/U] and the tide bit on a more low key route also being a better option and scenic direct route back. Thank you for sharing that, brotha.

[MENTION=106327]GVL[/MENTION] isn't 2N13 have a locked gate on the green valley side? Last time I went camping up there I tried to take that trail but a gate said no, so then I headed towards 3N16

I'm not planning on camping, but depends on how long we're on the trail. I'll be prepared for anything.
