Nah, Sunday I was ready to go and just about to take off...then Jillian my daughter FaceTime me, "Dad can we go to back to school clothes shopping, shoes, backpack and go get school supplies"?...
"But of course, why not? I wasn't gonna do anything today anyways" I'm on my way...

So I also called up a buddy of mine who's been wheeling forever and asked if he may have any info, track files or video for white mountain specifically. He ended up have a couple vids and one of his own GPS track files with tagged drop pins and waypoints with notes/description he added for each of them.
So I edited/added some info to our map based off what I collected from his info and his tracks I figured any extra info or possible options wouldn't hurt.

It seems as though there's a lot of interest in camping for this run..so I added a bunch of the surrounding camp grounds in that area to the first page map. If you click on the picnic table icon it will bring up location ,phone number and detailed info I also took the time and added photos or vid clips for each of them I found throughout the web so you can see how they look to make a decision.
Any symbol you see should have info I collected and added to help anyone in anyway it can.

And the Orange route is (Forrest Rd 2N13) ...[U [MENTION=106327]GVL[/MENTION][/U] shared some info with me and asked if the end of the trail run was gonna be back to where we started? Yes..well instead of doing 3N16 again (valid point) which is a long and boring route that 2N13 ends where we started and will get us back in the same amount of time, it's a different trail, more scenic and less to no other vehicles on that route.
So I located the trail on the map and highlighted the route based on guessing at what info [MENTION=106327]GVL[/MENTION] Gave me and assumed this is the route or way he was speaking/thinking of as a different option.
Which I think is probably a solid idea and a good idea ..as you can see the trail seems pretty straight forward. It also goes through some areas I wanted to see and checkout..hahaha.
But I put it in orange just as an option if it doesn't work for us or majority not headed back that way then we decide and scratch that option at that point.

Truly, appreciate that extra local knowledge/info [U [MENTION=106327]GVL[/MENTION][/U] and the tide bit on a more low key route also being a better option and scenic direct route back. Thank you for sharing that, brotha.

Two words to describe the day would be STRAPS and TRAIN CRASH haha

This was a half full vs half empty run. Depending on your perspective it was either a great run or a boring run. We had some mishaps and as always our trail brothers pulled through. Some found out exactly what their limits were. Miah is still finding the line...Soso got sideways on the trail. Danny was the hero of the day. Miah, Al, Conner
and I bombed the trail at the end. It was the best run of the day. Grabbed a few cold ones at campsite. Left the house at 7:00am got home at 11:00pm. I didn't spend 15 hours on the trail because it sucked. Al and Miah once again thank you brothers.

Doesn't [MENTION=134758]SoSoRunner[/MENTION] like smokin tires and getting sideways?! Well I hope there wasn't to much damage and it was over all a safe run with a lot of knowledge to be taken.

Yep pretty much the trail itself was pretty fun but we had multiple recoveries so that took a lot of time, so much so we had to cut the run short. But it's ok we still got our trucks dirty and some of us found their limits ...
The 2wds had to turn around about halfway up the trail and planned to meet us at the end of said trail.....then Miah started to lead them up the gnarliest section their was...crazy f*******

In the end it was a good day, long with a lot of waiting but that's to be expected when recoveries are involved. Hope everyone had fun

What's up boys, great turnout yesterday, fun times a few bumps along the way always make it interesting. I'm pretty amazed the 2wd's even considered pushing on after that first long, loose, and very rocky hill climb and you tow drivers were awesome getting up that with a 2-ton anchor strapped to you - tight work! I must say in the 5 times I've run White Mtn this time was definitely the challenging conditions for some reason - I think the long dry spell we've had really loosened everything up and a few deep craters left in some precarious sections from previous stuck vehicles. Great job everyone - that was NOT an easy trail yesterday.

Shoot me a message if any of you want to come back and do some fun trails we didn't see - mostly all 2wd make-able but a few fun parts too. AND, when we get the first good snowfall you guys gotta come up for some snow wheelin!

Thank you Miah for spearheading this one and sorry I had to scoot before you guys got caught up to the pack. We'll do it again soon.

Thanks to Miah and Al putting the run together. I must say this was a challenging run for us 2wd but if the ground wasn't loose, I have no dought we would have made it...maybe. All in all we, especially the wife, had a great time. She wants to do it again. Now to just get her to camp and mod her GX 470 for offroad...hehe! Til the next run gents!

Wow, gotta give you 2WD guys credit for even considering these trails... Or maybe it's just peer pressure once you're there. A wise man once said:

"Confidence is the feeling you get before you fully understand the situation."

Turning back there was a good call, there were at least 2 more spots that would have been a miracle for a 2 to make it up and some other parts that were just rocky and narrow with long drop offs - I like having 4 in those spots just in case the trailside gives or something. Glad everyone made it back safely!
