Anyone get video of me popping Miah off the tracks? Was hoping my slider camera caught it, but looks like I never hit play before we headed down grapevine canyon.

I didn't but maybe your buddy Sang or his gf did? I know they had their cameras out also.

I bet you still noticed a huge improvement with the locker.

Heck Ya! I can crawl up slower with less throttle as long as the ground is solid and not sandy loose. I'm actually looking at 3rd Gen 4wd and building it for offroad so LITTLE TO NO LIMITS!

Yeah I need to hit them up for their footage. Started going through video last night, I MIGHT have some video of pulling Miah up the hill from the camera on my slider, have one more file to look at still.

Dude this is only my 3rd run since building my rig and I was nothing but smiles cause I got little to no slippage. This run was definitely more challenging then Cleghorn so that run dosent count. It took me a while to find a good 3rd gen with a elocker but totally worth it.

Nice! White Mountain was my 3rd trip out after I started building mine too back in November, and the hardest trail done to that point. I still really haven't hit a limit on it yet and ATRAC continues to amaze me. Was going nuts trying to get SoSo out, but it just wasn't enough. I don't even think a locker would have worked at that point trying to pull him.

I'm actually going to see one today that has a locker. 1997 limited 4wd 3.4L with 140K miles for $4900. I know I can get that down. Hopefully it still available. Fingers crossed.

Jus make sure the locker and 4wd engages. If a soccer mom ownes that shit they might be seized cause youre supposed to engage them both frequently to keep them lubed. Good luck man hope it works out.

Turns out one of the wires for my locker got cut at some point on Saturday, so I don't know how long my locker wasn't functioning haha

Hahahah, nice. Thought you had it locked when we were doing the SoSo recovery? My week old front end alignment is destroyed and I need to get under it to find out what's creaking, but otherwise I think I got out relatively unscathed this time. Sears told me they wouldn't honor the 6 month alignment because I'm lifted, but if it was off after a couple weeks I could bring it back in. So I need to clean it up and get it back over there. "I don't know what happened, I hit a speed bump and shit got crooked" hahaha

Price sounds reasonable, mileage is pretty low for that year. Stick to the basics like buying any used vehicle like checking Carfax, leaks, strange sounds, etc. Most importantly and the main reason you're buying this car is for the 4wd and locker so those must work. Remember, the locker can only engage in 4lo unless you do the blue wire mod but that's for another day. You will know you are engaged when the diff light stops blinking and the ABS light comes on along with the green 4wd light. If the radiator has fluids that look like "strawberry milkshake" just walk away.

That's my excuse, haha. My son gets the 4th gen when he turns 16, assuming he's proven that he's responsible enough for it.

No clue. My steering wheel is crooked and it's pulling to the right. I just had it done the week before, so I'm wondering if they didn't torque my LCA bolts. I didn't hit anything too hard that could have knocked it.

The wife is hooked and wants to do more wheelin. She didn't want to be limited. We were actually looking at 4th gen 06-09 v8 but hard to come by and also 05 gx470 (saw one for $11500 with 159K). Ended up looking at 3rd gens cause a lot cheaper. We'll see how this test drive today goes. You're right Soso, that was my excuse as well! LOL!
