Just want to thank everyone here for being so helpful to me. Hopefully I contributed something over the few years I have been here. Unfortunately I sold the 4runner and bought a 5.7 4x4 sequoia over the weekend. Still in a Toyota :D. Will miss my 4runner dearly and I am still in shock that I sold it. I really need something bigger though for my towing needs.

Thanks again all! I will still peek back in here from time to time to catch up on the 4runner news.

Catch me through PM too if I can be of any help ever.

LVSEQUOIA :D

Yea I know:

:worthless

Will have some up asap

Congrats on the Sequoia! Those are nice trucks. Just curious, what made you trade the 4Runner?

Damn i wish you told us you were gonna sell that T4R. We could've parted it out. lol

Thanks for all the comments guys!

I did sell everything with the 4r unfortunately so no parting out :D.

Not sure about lifting this beast as it is really for towing my toys to the destination then wrecking them and not the tow vehicle :D.

CJ3Flyer I did do an update in that thread. If you want any more info let me know!

I actually made the decision to get the Sequoia because I feel that I have outgrown the 4Runner. Being 6'1 230 lbs I was feeling a bit cramped in it. I also tow a 20' toyhauler. I want the safety of the larger vehicle on the road and it is a perfect time with the 0% financing :D.

After doing a test drive with Robert at Findlay (My034runner on toyota120) and seeing how capable this monster is offroad I was sold! I highly recommend this SUV if you are looking to go bigger.

Congrats on the Sequoia.

Couldn't you have upgrade to the V8 4runner if you wanted more power?

You really should have parted all your mods out. Probably could have made enough money to cover a payment or two.

Definitely thought about it but the wheelbase and weight is what I worry about the most. Was not really worried about the power as the v6 could tow the hauler fine. Do not want to have a situation where the trailer takes control of the car.

As for the mods I would have had to spend quite a bit of time and more money to take them off. Made the decision to just sell it as is and be done with it.

Thanks for the congrats!

No sellout - still a Toyota!

Congratulations! For improved towing the longer wheelbase and greater capacity is a safe bet. Great choice.

Enjoy!

Congrats and feel free to post up pics when you modify the Sequoia. I agree it's great timing to buy new with the 0%. GM just did it a few months ago, I think before they offered the employee pricing

I feel pretty bad for GM right now being in the position they are with the way things are going. Had to be loyal to Toyota though and jump on the 0% :D

14.7s in the 1/4 mile have been achieved in the Sequoia so you know you have a bit when you need to knock the punk in the next lane down a notch. ;):

It definitely feels good to have those ponies at your foot in this 5.7! One day when I have some extra dough lying around I will throw the charger in it for some fun :D
