Jumper for Fuse box

i once read a post someone put up showing how to make a jumper for the fuse box so that you dont need to turn the key on if you wanted to play the radio , and other things like a Cig . Lighter . I cant seem to find it now . Does anyone Recall The post and how to make the jumper ? i would Like to Do it so i could Charge My Cell Phone , Use my laptop and so on . I sure would be greatful for any help . Because of illness , I havent Done much to my Runner in a While . next month , my 2001 will be paid off. then im really going to make some mod's . glad This site is still up . my t4r.org stickers are starting to fade . im going to have to find out how to get more . thanks

Toyota 4Runner Highlander Electrical Modifications Constant 12v Power
This will give you full-time power to the outlets. For the radio, it is different, and depends on if you have an aftermarket HU and how it is wired. 9-15 years in, most folks probably have aftermarket. In which case just move your switched lead from wherever it is to connect to the full-time power lead already on your HU. Easier than modifying the source the switched lead comes from which may be different for each installation.
