Not from toyota, just from the 4th generation. I took a 5th generation out for an exteneded test drive and was hooked. Get my 2010 Blizzard Pearl Limited in a couple of weeks. Sad to see the V8 go but I dont tow anything so no biggie. Cant wait, ill post picks when I get it. So ive had a 2nd gen, 3rd gen, 4th gen and now a 5th...yeah I like 4runners.

ive had [two] 3rd gens and a 4th gen so far. im "planning" on keeping the 4th gen till she dies. but any of my buddies will tell you i dont tend to hold on to cars very long so who knows.

Congrats! Just curious what equipment it has and what you paid. I haven't even looked at the '11 so I have no idea.
I've also had a 2nd gen ('90) 3rd gen ('00) plus my current 4th gen ('08). In addition, I've had an '81 Celica and 2 Camry's; an '88 plus a '97 that my youngest son is driving. Oh, what a feeling!

I'm also skipping the 5th gen and hoping that Toyota returns to decent styling in the 6th gen. The 5th gen is a nice vehicle, but it's got a major case of the uglies! LOL, I was driving behind one yesterday and I have to say the rear view is just horrible. I almost threw up in my mouth after a few minutes of following it!
Very true, I dont tow ANYTHING so its not that big of a deal. Sure I liked the grunt of the V8 but its a truck, not a sports car....that comes a bit later :dancin:!!!
Well, it's not growing on me at all. I don't think the front is that bad and it looks okay from the side, but the rear end is just something I'll never think looks good.
But hey, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'm sure there are some people who think it looks great, even from the back. I mean, people did buy Pontiac Azteks, right?
