So I'm having the "power locks don't work but unlock works" issue a lot of folks have had.
I'm thinking of biting the bullet and putting in a new 8273035260 for a couple hundred bucks and change….
MY QUESTIONS ARE: Will I have any issues with my keys and the Valet Key working properly?
Can/should I do this myself as it seem pretty straight forward?
I'm far short of smart on these electrical issues and I've picked up some chatter on this topic about dealers needing to handle it because of the key and security system issues with the 2000 Limited's features.
Anyone done a self-swap with the immobilizer version of this fix? How'd it go?
