Just bought a 1st gen

haha yep. I found it! thers def a hole there.

UPDATE:

I fixed the brights (the connections has black on em.. just sand papered it off)
I *fixed* the rear window. the window lock button seemed to be faulty, so i grounded the input wire going into it, and it works fine for now!

Iv also put a 300 watt pioneer amp into it, 2 noname 12" subs i bought at a yardsale, and a Virtual reality (walmart =( ) deck with usb and sd card reading on it. (which is why i got it.. and it was only 80$)

my throttle still likes to stick at 1800 rpm... iono if i should get a stronger spring or what. Eventually i need to get a new accelerator cable, and then a cruiz control multiswitch.

Ouch. That audio system hurts me. Should've spent that $80 on repairs for the truck before dropping chump change on making an unreliable truck sound.... cheap. Not meant to offend, simply an observation. I did the same thing with my truck, except I spent $3000 on components for the system before the truck was even running (had a blown engine), and regretted it every day after, as I paid off the engine rebuild and several other shop-provided services. Homer Simpson moment: 'DOH!

In the end, worked out, but the biggest priority in a vehicle is the "moving" aspect. All the subwoofers in the world won't help if it doesn't drive.

lol thats for sure. When i bought the radio for it i wasent having any problems with it. the only issues i had back then was the gauges not working and the lights not working. now i have all sorts of issues that i cant figure out or even know where to start trying to figure out. i have another post called "weird electrical issues" that describes it more
