Just bought a 2005 4Runner

This past Thursday, I bought a 2005 4Runner V6 4WD. 183,000 miles

It looks like there may be an aftermarket alarm installed. There is a red button to the left of the steering wheel.

When these are stock, is the horn supposed to sound when you LOCK and UNLOCK the doors?

I would like to turn it off if I can.

I really like this vehicle so far and am hoping it will be a reliable daily driver for several years.

Any other tips for a new owner would be appreciated.

there is a piezo "beep" tucked inside the drivers side front fender. They must have wired the new alarm to beep the horn, sorry
