Just bought my third 4Runner, upgraded to a 5th Gen - 2017 SR5 Premium

Greetings fellow 5th Geners, I've owned 2 4Runners over the last 11 years, an 03 Sport, and an 08 SR5. I finally broke down and traded in my 08 for a brand new 2017 Nautical Blue SR5 Premium and was brand new, it had 22 miles on it when I drove it off the lot, and 8 or 10 of those were from my test drive. It was bittersweet because I loved my old 4Runner so saying goodbye to her was tough, been through a lot of life changes with that thing, but it was time to move on. Here's a pic that I snapped at the dealer, I tried to recreate the pic from 2012 when I bought the 08 and traded in my 03.

And again, out with the old and in with the new again!

Loving the color so far, and the interior is like a freaking living room, so much headroom and so comfortable, way more spacious and comfortable than my last 2 4Runners. I'm already ordering mods for it.

I washed it and snapped a couple pics yesterday, happy to be a member of the 5th Gen Family now :thumb:

Congrats. Nice rig. About that headroom I'm so used to 4th gen lack of headroom that I moved my fifth gen seat almost all way up just out of habit seating near headliner.

Thanks, I drove an hour to buy this color! I almost went with another dark gray, but got hooked on the blue, and I'm loving it so far!

It really is night and day, I had more headroom in my 03 Sport than my 08, but the difference between them and my 5th gen is night and day.

sweet new rig. I aspire to be a multiple 4runner owner too. I plan on trying to keep mine though. Way too bittersweet to get rid of them.
