Man these things are addictive! I have only owned it about two weeks but my "to-do" list just seems to grow daily. First I went through and washed/waxed it. I didn't get the results I wanted so once it gets dirty again I will hit it with some cleaner wax, light swirl polish, and re-wax. I changed the oil today just because I wanted to and I figured I would start fresh with my ownership. By the way, I don't know that I have ever had an oil change go that easily...that oil filter design rocks! My Weathertech's (front only for now) came in today...thanks Hun and Kiddos (father's day present). I just went out and pulled the metal dealership badge that has been on the liftgate since '03...never have liked them on my trucks. I am debating pulling the Limited and 4WD badges off the side doors but on the fence for now.
Now that I have had a chance to check out the Weathertech's in person and in my vehicle, I will get the rear passenger set and cargo liner. After that, I really want a few paintless dent repairs and then it is going to get fun.
I originally was going to install the Bilstien 5,100's and set them at 2.5" then add 1.5" spacers in the rear. But since I can't get anyone to mess with it (XREAS suspension) locally, I have decided to go with a Cornfed kit for now...most likely the 3/2. By the way, the "kid" at my local 4 Wheel Parts who acts as the technician could really learn a thing or two about customer service...he dropped a fair amount of attitude on me today in regards to installing a lift with the XREAS and I don't think I will deal with them again. Anyway, I feel fairly confident I can pull off the install without disconnecting the XREAS from threads I have read on here. I guess I should thank him as he just saved me alot of coin!!! I just hope it doesn't look goofy without bigger tires and rims because those will have to wait for a while but I really want it leveled and up a bit before hunting season.
Sorry for the rambling but my wife, kids, and brothers (both own T4R's) are already sick of me going on and on so I had to tell someone!
