Just got a 4runner!!! =)

Just got a 98 4Runner SR5 about 2 weeks ago and I am already obsessed. Its a beautiful vehicle and it is going to work out great as me and my girlfriend just had our first child =) It does get a little shaky at freeway speeds (the 4runner, not my son) so that definitely needs some checking out, but other than that I am loving it. I'm seeing tons of mods and ideas on the forum so I'm super excited to check some of them out when I have time and money. Oh! I'm also looking for seat covers that actually fit nice and don't cost 200$. If you guys have any recommendations (think that's how you spell it) I would really appreciate it.

Welcome...these 3rd gens are just impossible not to love. Just before I got my lift and bigger tires, I too had a shake in the front (not when you brake is it??). Turns out I just threw a weight. Maybe a quick rotation and balance is all you need (unless the tires are shot...that could do it too). Oh and congrats on the newbie male in the family...I know a little about that too except mine is 8 now.

I just got my 2000 SR5 a couple of months ago, and love it. Great for hauling the dogs around.
