i just got a 97 2wd, 4runner limited, v6 , its got a small pre runner lift , i wanna got fast, but how? anything i should know about?

You can get a flux capacitor mod on e-bay for like 200.00 bucks... Way better then a silly super charger.
All joking aside, define fast? On the street? ( wrong ride) On the dirt? ( Start reading.... Check out the race dezert ..But I suggest you do some research first.

It all depends on how fast and where. I can say that making our Runners fast is not cheap no matter street or dirt. The 3.4 is capable of making huge power and being reliable but in order to do it you need either a turbo or supercharger set up, along with lots of work. Do a google search for 800hp Tacoma, he is running dual turbos but with all the engine mods, turbo, stand alone computers, dino tunning time I believe was 25-30k in engine alone. The TRD supercharger will get you to the 240hp range on the 3.4 with URD fuel upgrades and great reliability. If you ahve the 4cyl you can still get insane HP numbers out of those as well but again nothing Cheap.
